McKenney’s provided the mechanical scope of work for a new colocation data center built within an existing warehouse shell. This project featured five data halls, each capable of supporting 4-5 megawatts. Each phase consisted of water cooled CRAH units and associated chillers. Building this existing warehouse out into data center space over multiple phases gave the owner flexibility to only build as much as they needed. Additionally, the fact that it was being constructed from an existing warehouse meant that once needed, McKenney’s was quickly able to get new phases completed and online.
The comprehensive mechanical solutions provided by the McKenney’s and Brasfield & Gorrie team will ensure the high-performance and reliability standards required for this customer’s data centers.
